Hi!

My name is Brittany J, I am a marine biologist by day and an inquisitive adventurer always. I look for inspiration in everything from nature, books, movies, sports, famous quotes, to art, etc. Growing up I was taught that we only have one life, so it is our moral imperative to pursue what makes us happy whether that’s traveling the world, opening a bakery, or being a stay at home mom raising six children it doesn’t matter as long as you are doing what you love. I believe that if you are doing what you love then you have already found a bit of extraordinary and you should share that with the world. We should encourage other people to chase their dreams and not settle for what is comfortable and known, to question regularly if we have ‘sucked the marrow out of life’ as Henry David Thoreau said.

This blog is comprised of my thoughts and observations I have made and I hope that it will bring inspiration, curiosity, or a new perspective on life.
